What are you talking about? First of all, you shouldn't even be asked for an SS number from any potential employer except the federal government. At least until you've been interviewed and they're interested in spending a few hundred bucks to do a background check on you that is.

So the lower court correctly concludes that it doesn't have jurisdiction over the TSA and that's that? Do none of these courts actually have jurisdiction over the TSA? Its part of an executive department. Whatever happened to checks and balances? Somebody needs to rule on the merits of this case.

The problem with allowing the schools to add these extra fees is that they don't add them to expensive programs - they add them to programs that are in demand. Engineering departments as a whole cost less than a liberal arts department.
